Demam Viral - viral fever

Adam started got fever on last Monday. With some knowledge which i got thru books, paper and Mr Google..i continuously monitor his temperature during day and night. This is very important to ensure that his temperature is within an acceptable range. The baby is advised to wear in very minimal clothing in order to prevent his temperature from sudden spike.

Actually there is no single value to define as fever, however the following measurement are generally accepted values:

• Rectal temperature above 100.4ºF (38ºC)
• Oral temperature above 100ºF (37.8ºC)
• Axillary (armpit) temperature above 99ºF (37.2ºC)
• Ear (tympanic membrane) temperature above 100.4ºF (38ºC) in rectal mode or 99.5ºF (37.5ºC) in oral mode
• Forehead (temporal artery) temperature above 100.4ºF (38ºC)

So, based on this value..can be concluded that any reading between 40ºC or higher is quite high for a small2 kid and if this happen..better to refer to pediatrician for further checkup & monitoring. Ok, back to the story..i was quite worried on the 3rd day since his temperature is maintaining between 37.8ºC - 39.0ºC especially during night. I woke up many times during nite to checked his temperature, sponging him with lukewarm water, kept his head wet in order to bring down the fever. On his 3rd day, the rashes started to appear in his skin. It start in his chest and face and keep spreading up in other part of his body. It just look like measles. However, Adam still active crawling and playing with his toys. Since his fever still not reduce more than 2 days, plus he now got cough, flu and diarrhea, we have decided to bring him to the hospital for further medical evaluation.

Mula2 planning nk pg specialist at Putra Medical Centre, sg buloh..tp dsebabkan dah full and pediatrician also strongly suggested adam to be warded for close monitoring, so..kitorg terus drive to the nearest medical centre which is tropicana. Actually, tropicana ni pernah dtg to our perodua for promotion. His temperature is 39.2C on the first screening test. So, nurse terus masukkan ubat thru his rectum. After register, kitorg waiting for pediatrics for further checkup. Adam give his innocent smile and seems very happy when he first met Dr Lim who will be incharged on our case. Tp his expression totally changed after Dr Lim trying to insert a stick to check his throat condition, he really2 hates it, seriously! According to Dr Lim, his throat quite red and based on his observation and experienced on Adam's condition..the rashes is not measles since it appear inconstantly.  So he takes throat swab test for influenza and blood test for further assessment. But the result for blood test will takes quite sometime. Alhamdulillah, the result of influenza is -ve.

On his 2nd days at Tropicana, Adam still got fever but the temp is still in acceptable range which below than 39C.  We take out all his cloth and he only wearing diapers until the next day. The spotted still sprout all over his body and we still keep on sponging his head and body to reduce temperature and applying Eurax cream four times a day and also take 3 different medicine which is pro-biotic, paracetamol and  cetirizine. Dr ckp..'i think its not measles, sbb adam look so happy and active. Usually, based on my experienced...any infant who suffer measles will have a bit chronic cough. This spotted is also not a sign of dengue'. Then,Dr Lim keep continuously visit him 3 times a day. Adam seems ok, but he became sgt2 manje wif his ayah yg rajin mendukung..take him outside the room. sometimes he crying and tertonggeng mybe because he felt dizziness due to the effects of meds taken. After he sees Dr Lim for a few times, Adam will start a little whimpering every-time the door open by the nurse..and crying every time doc trying to check her lung and take his temperature. Its funny when he also crying when he sees the cleaner came for room cleaning..:)


Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah SWT whom with His willingness..together with an intensive care by his parents and with the helps of doc and nurses..Adam has no more fever on the next day. So he will be able to discharge by that evening...:-). Now, still awaiting blood test from the doc. Hopefully its only normal kinda viral or measles...

hi february...bubbye jan 2012

jan 2012 has passed us..now we have only 11 month left to achieve what we had declared & jotted down as our 2012 wishlist in last year of Dec 2011. So any achievement in jan 2012 in ur job or social life? For me, not a very good start..but i will climb slowly but carefully as i can. my job becoming more and more challenging per day especially when it came to the topic of handling end users which seems no ends. Yes, end user also a normal people/ a human like us...but different people will have different behavior/attitude..different people will make different mistakes..different people will have different knowledge & skills..different people will react in different manners..and all those mixture of DIFFERENCES has contribute to the biggest challenge in our life as system engineer. See..life is not always easy, man!*sigh*

Love Letter to Husband: the precious gift for anniversary..

Dear husband,
Since in the morning, I cant stop myself from smiling..
Eventhough im a bit misserable with some of user's attitude which has always freak out my day..
but..when i thought about the special gift..the cloudy seems slowly go away..
the sunshines came nearest litle by little to brighter my day..

Resepiku: Ikan Siakap Sweetsour

Dari smlm dok teringin nk mkn ikan siakap sweet sour. Ni first time nk buat..alhamdulillah mmg jadi walaupun without referring to any online recipe, nmpk sgt born in nature mmg dh ade skill memasak kot..ekeke *mode perasan*

Ingredients:
2 biji bawang besar (dikisar halus)
3 ulas bawang putih (dikisar halus)
asam keping (sikit jer) or boleh ganti dengan perahan sebiji asam limau
1 sudu besar sos tiram
2 sudu besar cili kisar (ready-made)
2 sudu besar sos cili
3 tangkai cili api (dikisar halus)
1 sudu besar sos tomato
1 sudu besar sos plum life -- mmg sedap tuk sweet & sour flavour
sedikit garam
sedikit serbuk lada hitam
half tin nenas
sedikit air 
Cendawan tiram
ikan siakap
tepuing tempura - cap Tesco pon bole..

Cara2 untuk buat kuah sweet sour.
1. Panaskan minyak, tumis bawang merah + putih + cili kisar sampai agak2 naik bau.
2. Masukkan asam keping,  sos tiram, sos cili, sos plum, sos tomato, sedikit lada hitam, sedikit garam dan sedikit air. Kacau rata.
3. Last skali masukkan nenas and kuah nenas sikit. Kuah nenas tu jangan taruk banyak2 plk sbb manis kn. Thats why sy xde added sugar dlm recipe ni. jangan lupa masukkan cendawan tiram plk.
4. Kacau dalam 5 minute..then siapp.

Utk ikan, selepas bersihkan dengan air garam, taburkan tepung tempura. Then goreng smpai garing or kekuning-kuningan. Pastu curahkan kuah ke atas ikan siakap yang telah digoreng. Fyi, tepung tempura ni byk functions, no need to added extra salt pn. Tepung ni jg boleh dgunakan untuk buat tempura udang, sawi, sotong, terung...mmg sedappppp. Dijamin crunchie..& highly recommended!:-))

passport untuk baby...

Last monday, sy & hubi g buat passport adam. Planning mmg nk pg holiday, tp x sure lg kt mane and bile. Depends on situation. Mula2 dh survey package to Beijing, hubi plan nk pg early Feb 2012, tapiiii..weather plk x mengizinkan. kesian plk kt sikecit ni sbb max temp by that time baru 4C oke. Lagipun tahun ni kami tgh 'mengusahakan' sesuatu yg lebih penting dr bercuti and will cost a lots of money. Wohoo..! So rasenyer, holiday to beijing will be postponed to another uncertain date, maybe next year..or another year..hihi. Insya'Allah, kalau ade rezeki. So, maybe kitorg akan berjalan2 ke tpt yg dekat2 jer..blh jadi USS, singapore or Bandung jer kot, insya'Allah.. &yg ni pn depends on our hectic schedule jg kot. Tapi, kalau yg kami 'usahakan' tu menemui jalan -ve, baru kami akan berfikir2 semula holiday to beijing tu..:-))

Kalau nk buat kt Immigration department, PKNS, Shah Alam..better pg early in the morning supaya x que lama. Lagi satu, baby mmg kena bawak skali. Sbb, pegawai immig tu mmg nk tgk bby mase kite nk amik Passport. Special fee for the infant, which is RM150 and valid for five years! :-))

cyberview lodge Resort & Spa, cyberjaya...

Pernah pg x tmpt ni? If not yet, i strongly recommended this place for you klu malas nk keluar jauh2 to other states in Malaysia la. Actually, last few years, pakcik husband pernah ajak kami bercuti di Hotel Putrajaya/Cyberjaya ni..but i refuse to go sbb i paling x suke dok hotel kt KL areas. Kalau hotel mcm kt KL..tgh2 kesesakkan..eeeuu..it will stressed me out lg ade la!

Baru2 ni pakcik husband ajak lg, dsebabkan keluarga mertua ade bersama..so kami pn follow jer la.Mase tu I imagine, paling best pn atleast blh mandi pool dgn adam la. Smpai jer kt Cyberview Lodge, my thought was totally wrong and a bit strayed away, i was so impressed with the view. Hmmm..not bad! Surrounded by towering palm trees, splendid tropical garden...and all i can say at that time is..WAHHHHHH (with mata sedikit terbeliak and mulut sedikit terngaga ok).

The place is so stunning and shud go ok. I fall in love with the environment,  the smell of the fresh air, the architecture of the building, the whole ambiance...everything la..including environment in the room and what i can say is almost every single thing has amazed me out! I just cant believe that there are an awesome place on the outskirts of the city. The environments was so quite and pleasant when you wake up in the morning and walk away to the pool. 2 days of excitement has relief me out from the work-stressed towards end year of 2011.

We also had an opportunity to release stress and relax our body at Sembunyi Spa. 1 room (2 person) entitled for Sauna, Steam and Jacuzzi. Sembunyi Spa offered you a an ultimate body & spiritual relaxation with several treatment package like manicures, pedicures, facials, massages and spas. Package after childbirth pon ade! Tapi kitorg just take standard package jela. Sauna 5 minit sbb panas, Steam 5 minit jg...then baru jacuzzi. Tu pn was2 sgt nk berendam dlm kolam bubble tu..baru celup hujung kaki pn dh jerit..adeh2..panass! Then mak mertua siap tarik tangan soh berendam jg sbb die ckp ok jer. Lepas beberapa saat berendam seluruh badan dlm jacuzzi pool tu..baru la rase ok sket..dh rase x panas. Lame la jg kami berendam..dlm 20 minit kot. Overall, mmg puas hati...insya'Allah..will visit this place again someday:-)

emosi jan 2012...

isteri sahabat kami sakit lg. Disebabkan ade kelapangan sedikit pd tengahari jumaat tadi, dapatlah kami meluangkan masa untuk melawat k. ira di Hospital Selayang. Dalam perjalanan bersama om, tasha & k.linda..kami cume berbual2 kosong. Sambil memandu, sempat lg sy mengingati perjumpaan terakhir bersama k.ira..wanita yg sangat2 tabah yg pernah sy jumpe..yg peramah dan sentiasa murah dengan senyuman manis. Last kami jumpe dlm bulan 7 tahun lepas iaitu sblm raye di Pusat Rawatan Islam Kg Baru. Waktu itu beliau admitted disebabkan kekejangan pd bahagian perut. Ketika itu beliau nmpak sihat, tp sedikit susut.

Smpai je kami di Hospital Selayang, kami terus menuju ke level 4. Kedatangan kami disambut ramai oleh sahabat2 beliau. Hati sy benar2 tersentuh..series. Hampir menitis air mata melihatkan keadaan beliau yg sedikit susut berbanding beberapa bulan yang lepas. Ya Allah, beratnya ujian-Mu ini Ya Allah. Berikanlah kekuatan kepada beliau, ahli keluarga beliau, sanak saudara beliau. Kekuatan beliau menghadapi ujian Allah yg Maha Hebat ini menjadi inspirasi kepada diri yg lemah ini untuk menjadi lebih tabah dalam menghadapi kehidupan sehari-hari. Selama beberapa minit disana, hati sy sebak..menahan rasa ingin menangis.Sejak mengalami kehilangan beberapa insan tersayang, saya xblh melihat keadaan yg sedemikian, hati ini mudah saja tersentuh. Melihatkan wayar yang berselirat, mahu saja sy mengalirkan air mata disitu untuk melepaskan segala kesedihan andai itu bisa melegakan. Tapi, sy tahan perasaan itu..hmm memang emosi sungguh pd waktu itu.Hati kami kena kuat disitu, sambil cuba berbual2 kosong agar beliau dapat melupakan kesakitan walau seketika. Keadaan beliau nmpak lemah pn mungkin disebabkan saranan doktor untuk berpuasa for blood test. Tak banyak yang kami bualkan tadi, mungkin disebabkan keadaan beliau dan masa yg tidak mengizinkan. Akhirnya, kami memohon untuk beransur pulang ke opis selepas pengumuman dari pembesar suara yg menggamatkan segenap ruang wad menandakan waktu melawat telah tamat pd pukul 2 tghhari. Kami sempat saratkan beliau dengan kata2 semangat agar beliau menjaga kesihatan. Doakan yang terbaik untuk isteri sahabat kami yer...

nue year blues...

still in nue year mood..trying to adapting ma self wif this nue number 2012..2012..2012.  Humm..to be frank, currently i dun see & feel any differences..what i can see is only the number changed to n+1. But..deep inside, i believe that time flies, me people getting older, all the creatures keep on growing and we dun even know about the future..future is unpredictable. You will only realize how fast time is moving foward through all those all album and thinking, where did all those precious time goes?

For 2012, may we have 12 months of happines 52 weeks of fun 356 days of success 8760 hours of good health 52600 minutes of good luck..:))
